A Space for Progress
Southside Commons is a unique facility dedicated to meeting the needs of non-profit and grassroots organizations working in the Seattle area and beyond. Once a church, Southside Commons now offers event and training space for organizations and individuals dedicated to achieving social, racial, and economic justice.
Southside Commons aims to help progressive organizations accomplish their goals by providing a welcoming and affordable environment in which to conduct the events that are an essential part of the non-profit community.
In the heart of Columbia City
Southside Commons is located in the former Southside Church of Christ building in the historic Columbia City neighborhood of South Seattle. The Commons is situated one block from downtown Columbia City and two blocks from the Columbia light rail station.
